Chip Flipper has no accounts, no analytics, and no servers of its own. Your game stays on your phone. It shows optional video ads, served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID; in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first. "Pro" is bought through Google Play. The only time anything reaches the developer is when you choose to send a bug report from your own mail app.
Your save files and settings (sound, quality, the tutorial) are stored in the app's private storage on your device. The game does not send them anywhere.
If backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may copy the app's save and settings to your own Google backup, so a new phone or a reinstall can restore your progress. Google runs that backup under its own terms; the developer cannot see it.
"Report a bug" in Settings opens your mail app with a message already written, addressed to the developer. Nothing is sent unless you press Send in your mail app. The message contains:
If you send it, the developer receives that email and your email address, and uses them only to look into the problem and reply to you. You can delete anything from the message before sending it. Ask at the address below and we will delete your report within 30 days.
The game offers rewarded video ads that you choose to watch, for example to start a boost or speed up a craft. They are served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob collects data from your device, such as the advertising ID, your IP address, the device model and how you interact with the ad, and processes it under Google's own policies. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time with "Ad privacy choices" in Settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
"Pro" is a one-time purchase made through Google Play. Google Play handles the payment; the developer never sees your payment details. The game only asks Google Play whether Pro has been bought on your account, so it can switch Pro on.
Chip Flipper is not directed at children.
